Patellar Tendonitis

Patellar Tendonitis

Patellar Tendonitis is a chronic tendon overuse injury, diagnosed clinically as activity-related anterior knee pain and regularly limits athletic performance.

Pain symptoms are commonly localized at the patellar tendon, especially with loading activities, such as landing from a jump or running up or down hills. (Strakowski and Jamill, 2006)
